We welcome corporate and commercial commissions throughout the year, selectively chosen to ensure synergy. Please note that lead times may vary, typically ranging from 2 to 6 weeks or longer, depending on the scope of the project. Reach out via the form below or email us directly at hello@JUDiTHandROLFE.com. We’re committed to providing a prompt response, usually within 24 hours.

Private commissions are currently open for 2024. Our commission process is outlined below. Feel free to use the form to initiate a conversation about your custom project, or if you have any further queries.

  1. Initial Consultation: Let us know what you're interested in - subject matter, technique, colors, etc. If you're uncertain, we'll guide you through a series of questions to help shape the artwork’s design.

  2. Concept Development: Upon establishing a general direction for the artwork, we'll present initial ideas, often in the form of rough sketches or small-scale mockups, for your feedback. Expect a collaborative exchange until we achieve a design you adore. Preliminary pricing will be provided at this stage.

  3. Agreement + Payment: Upon finalizing the artwork details, we'll send you an agreement to sign and invoice for a 50% down payment (non-refundable) before commencing any work. Our commissions typically start at $1,000 USD, with pricing determined by the artwork's size and complexity. We're flexible and willing to accommodate your budget.

  4. Creation + Completion: The made-to-order artwork timeline can vary from days to weeks. Let us know if you have a specific deadline and we’ll strive to accommodate it. Rush pricing is available for select commissions with urgent, strict deadlines. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work and before shipping or delivery. Please review our Shop Policies for additional information.

  5. Framing: The final touch, if applicable. If you have a trusted framer, we can ship the artwork unframed to you. Alternatively, we collaborate with a local framer in Richmond, VA, to provide professionally framed pieces in museum glass or acrylic. For a more economical option, factory-made frames are also available. Please note that framing services are provided at additional cost and time.
